General healing prayers
General prayer for healing for oneself or for another person. Every sentence refers to a verse of scripture.
"God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all present, all powerful, and all knowing. _____________desire healing, believe you can heal ____________, know you desire to heal___________ and give thanks for healing__________. You tell _________ to bring ________ prayer requests to you with a spirit of thanksgiving, and then your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard _________ heart and mind in you. Since you mysteriously cause all things to work together for ________ good, _________ trust in you, and not in the 'old man self's' constant desire to want to know why things have, or are, happening the way they are. _________ proclaim, like Mary, "Your will be done". And since it is being done, ________ choose to give thanks in all circumstances. _________ know that sometimes, like in the Book of Genesis with Joseph, _________ may be a recipient of evil, and yet somehow, some way, you're able to bring good out of it. ________ choose to walk by 'faith' in you, and not by what is happening around ________ . Help _______ to manifest your 'fruits' in _______ thoughts, words and actions. It's healing and liberating to know, that as a Christian, random, automatic, involuntary thoughts & feelings are totally meaningless, until ________ first make the conscious effort to assess them for truthfulness according to Your Word, and g-e-n-t-l-y refute those that are not in alignment with your Truth. ________ know the 'old man self' that scripture talks about, loves to conjure up thoughts and feelings of fear and worry. However, ________, 'new man self', ________ REAL identity, doesn't worry about life, the body, or tomorrow, for you provide for all _________ needs according to your glorious riches. Continue to help ________ in the) 'transformation by the renewal of the mind' journey. Thank you for the truth that there is nothing that can ever separate ________ from your love and mercy. As the purchaser and owner of __________, thank You for taking all the 'normal' cares and anxieties of the 'old man' self. When ________ come to You in stillness, silence, and solitude, You give rest. When ___________ experiences a ‘thorn in the flesh’, your grace is sufficient, for your power is being made perfect in _______. You never allow _______ to be tempted beyond _______ability to resist, for _______can do all things THROUGH YOU, who gives the power. After _______ suffered a little while, you will restore _______ and make _______strong, firm, and steadfast. Like the Apostle Paul, _______ know that when the body does things that _______ don't want it to do, it's not the real __________ that did it, it's the remnants of the 'old man' that did it. So, ________ never condemned by You. However, Your Word says that _________ not to use this new freedom as an excuse to satisfy the desires of the 'old man' self, but, to strive to serve one another in love. Since you'll never leave or forsake ________, ________say with confidence, You're ________ helper, _________not afraid, there is nothing man can do to ________. You're _______ Shepherd, there is nothing ________ shall want. Greater are You that lives within ________, than he that lives in the world. So be it.

A prayer to receive the Holy Spirit, the 'Helper', for scripture says separated from God, we can do nothing.

Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord. Amen

Prayer for revealing and setting one free from generational bondage

Heavenly Father, I come before You, in the blessed name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit. I thank You for sending Jesus by whose holy blood and precious sacrifice I and my loved ones can be set free from the brokenness, woundedness, sinful attitudes and negative patterns of my (our) ancestry. I thank You, Father, that You have called me to be free from all bondage in the name of Jesus, and I praise You that, in Christ, I shall be set free.
And now, Lord Jesus, gently reveal to me in the power of the Holy Spirit those ways in which I may be living out inherited sin patterns. All of these sin patterns, known and unknown to me, in my life and in the lives of my ancestors (in my spouse's life, in his/ her ancestors, and in our offspring) — I acknowledge them all before You, Father. I confess to You the evil inclinations, compulsions and bad habits that have influenced us. I ask You to forgive me and all of my ancestors (my spouse and his/her ancestors and our offspring) for all these sins. In the name of Jesus and by His holy blood, set us free in You forever, Holy Father. Empty our souls of sin, and fill them with the holiness of Jesus.
I claim the Lord Jesus Christ as my true inheritance, and I thank You, Father, for the most wonderful gift of Your Holy Son. I bless You, Jesus, that You have come to show me my true roots, which are within the very heart of God the Father. I praise You, Holy Trinity. Those whom the Son sets free are free indeed. Alleluia! Amen.

Prayers of Surrender
Jesus, I Love you…. Jesus, I trust in you….
Lord, teach me not only to accept but to truly love my littleness and my inner poverty and to place blind trust in your infinite goodness and mercy that I may be entirely dependent upon your protective, fatherly care and experience the transforming power of your grace in my life. My Lord and Savior, I know that you love me more than I can ever imagine and that you have a plan for my life that will end in eternal glory if I but surrender my heart and soul to you, entrust myself completely to you, and allow you to lead me always, especially through the darkest hours of my life. My loving Jesus, let the fire of your Holy Spirit purify my soul, my senses, and my entire being to remove from my life anything that might stand as an obstacle to my ability to enkindle that flame of pure love – the love that you desire to receive from me. Lord, teach me to be not only resigned to your holy will but to always seek your will, embrace your will, and truly, lovingly abandon myself to it, with joyful confidence that you desire my happiness far more than I do my own. Let my faith response be to give thanks and praise to you always, even when you will that I bear the cross of suffering. With the holy and immaculate Virgin Mary, let me say “yes” to your divine plan for my life, knowing that great things happen when we say “yes” to you….
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, let me love you with all my soul and all my strength. Grant me the grace to adore you with every beat of my heart and with every fiber of my being, that I may love you with the same passionate intensity with which you have loved me. Amen.

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, all I have and call my own. You have given all to me. To you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace, that is enough for me. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, it is my will to surrender to you everything that I am and everything that I’m striving to be. I open the deepest recesses of my heart and invite your Holy Spirit to dwell inside of me. I offer you my life, heart, mind, body, soul, spirit, all my hopes, plans, and dreams. I surrender to you my past, present, and future problems, habits, character defects, attitudes, livelihood, resources, finances, medical coverage, occupation, and all my relationships. I give you my health, physical appearance, disabilities, family, marriage, children, and friendships. I ask you to take Lordship over every aspect of my life. I surrender to you all my hurt, pain, worry, doubt, fear, and anxiety, and I ask you to wash me clean. I release everything into your compassionate care. Please speak to me clearly, Lord. Open my ears to hear your voice. Open my heart to commune with you more deeply. I want to feel your loving embrace. Open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. Please set my feet upon the straight and narrow road that leads to everlasting life. Amen.

My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you and I hope that I have that desire in all that I am doing.
And I know that if I do this, you will lead me by the right road although I may know nothing about it. Therefore, will I trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death, I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone. Amen.

Father,
I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures.
I wish no more than this, O Lord.
Into your hands I commend my soul;
I offer it to you
with all the love of my heart,
for I love you, Lord,
and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands,
without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
for you are my Father.
Amen.

Here is my body. Take it. Here is my blood. Take it. Here is my soul, my will, my energy, my strength, my property, my wealth—all that I have. It is yours. Take it! Consecrate it! Offer it with yourself to the heavenly Father…Consecrate these trials of my life, which would go unrewarded unless united with You. Transubstantiate me so that like bread which is now your Body and wine which is now your Blood, I too may be wholly yours…My station in life, my routine duties, my work, my family—all these are but the species of my life which may remain unchanged; but the substance of my life, my soul, my mind, my will, my heart—transubstantiate them, transform them wholly into your service, so that through me all may know how sweet is the love of Christ. Amen

Loving Father,
I surrender to you today with all my heart and soul. Please come into my heart in a deeper way. I say, “Yes” to you today. I open all the secret places of my heart to you and say, “Come on in.” Jesus, you are the Lord of my whole life. I believe in you and receive you as my Lord and Savior. I hold nothing back.
Holy Spirit, bring me to a deeper conversion to the person of Jesus Christ. I surrender all to you: my time, my treasures, my talents, my health, my family, my resources, my work, relationships, time management, successes and failures. I release it and let it go.
I surrender my understanding of how things ‘ought’ to be, my choices and my will. I surrender to you the promises I have kept and the promises I have failed to keep. I surrender my weaknesses and strengths to you. I surrender my emotions, my fears, my insecurities, my sexuality. Lord, I surrender my whole life to you, the past, the present, and the future. In sickness and in health, in life and in death, I belong to you.

God, give me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as He did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that He will make all things right,
If I surrender to His will,
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen.

O, my God, I will put myself without reserve into Your hands. Wealth or woe, joy or sorrow, friends or bereavement, honor or humiliation, good report or ill report, comfort or discomfort, Your presence or the hiding of Your countenance, all is good if it comes from You. You are wisdom and You are love—what can I desire more? You have led me in Your counsel, and with glory You received me. What have I in heaven, and apart from You what want I upon earth? My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the God of my heart, and my portion forever.
